I met Jake at 2pm, we picked up Adam and arrived very swiftly where the Greater Yellowlegs was on view straight away. Good views were had before leaving a cramped hide. I was back home by 6pm which must be some kind of record.
The only downside to the day was betting on four horses each way for the national, and getting zero return........at least I wasn't flying.
After having poor views of the Strathbeg individual back in 2012, it was good to finally see one properly. Just a shame it was often resting.
