After a fruitless visit to Rodmell for a Great White Egret and Tilgate for Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers, a call from Ian Barnard soon saw me down Pett for a first for Sussex. The bird in question was a drk KING EIDER.
On arrival it was nowhere to be seen, however a call from Chris Ball confirming its relocation further down the sea wall had all determined county listers take part in a wacky races event, and thankfully all present saw it.
