A quick visit down the Cuckmere this afternoon produced the female Smew (patch tick) in the 2nd meander along with Pochard, Wigeon, Pintail, Mallard, Shelduck and Gadwall.
Waders consisted of 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 8 Snipe, Ringed Plover, lots of Dunlin and Redshank.
On the west side the 2 Pale-bellied Brent were still with the Dark-bellied Brent Geese along with the 2 White-fronted Geese. A Kingfisher was also seen.
