The Gambia - 14/1/13

An early breakfast and I was up ready for a lift to Tanji Bird reserve. I walked on my own as usual, but the place was not alive with birds. The creek held a lot of Palearctic migrants and there was a reasonable Gull and Tern roost next to Tanji. Around 1pm, I got a bush taxi back to Tujering, walked half hour to Farakunko and had an afternoon in the pool, cooling down from the morning. A short evening walk was also completed.
