Seaford Head & Cuckmere Haven 5/9/16

A very soggy six hours slogging away on the patch produced very little reward, but it was still enjoyable and it felt more like being on Shetland. Blackcap numbers are now starting to increase in Hope Gap but there seemed to be little change from my last visit here late last week. Probably the highlight this morning was a group of Ringed Plover flying over with a Sanderling mixed in with them.
The Cuckmere after produced fewer Waders then expected, but three Turnstone was a good site record, but the trio soon flew south and out of sight.
