Conditions felt good today with an obvious drenching in the night that no doubt downed a fair few
Chiffchaffs as for a short period of time at the top of Hope Gap, I counted 70 birds heading back inland, and by the end of the morning I had counted 170 birds during the circuit. Other than this it was mostly the same as yesterday with very little moving overhead, and by mid-morning, the wind had really picked up, and with squally showers for the rest of the day I gave up. Still nothing of note (not even Yellow-broweds) along the south coast, so hopefully next week's south easterlies will drop something good in the area.
