Seaford Head & Pulborough Brooks 1/8/13

The Head was quiet this morning though there seemed to be a new batch of Whitethroats, most looking very fresh individuals. I guess as birds were a few weeks late in the spring, they are going to be a few weeks late in the autumn.

An afternoon spent twitching another new Orchid and the Pec was very successful. Totals are:

S'ford Head
Nightingale - 3
Yellow Wagtail - 1
Whitethroat - 38
Willow Warbler - 4
Swallow - 9
Sand Martin - 14

Pulborough Brooks
Pectoral Sandpiper - 1
Wood Sandpiper - 1
Common Sandpiper - 1
