Cuckmere Haven 13/5/15

Some superb views of Pallid Swifts in Marrakech, Morocco this morning flying a few metres above my head. I first thought they may have been Plain Swift but the very shallow fork in the tail was enough to convince me otherwise.

In the Cuckmere this evening were a good variety of Waders present, most of these being on the scrape. A walk around to Foxhole produced only a Spotted Flycatcher, however the pond there looks great for a Little Bittern or something similar. Totals are:

Black-tailed Godwit - 4
Grey Plover - 2
Greenshank - 1
Whimbrel - 7
Dunlin - 7
Spotted Flycatcher - 1
Redshank - 1

 male Linnet
 Black-tailed Godwits on the scrape
the scrape situated on the east side of the river and about 100 metres inland. A few goodies have been here in the past, long may it continue.
