Uganda - Day 1 17/6/16

The first ten days have now been added. The second half of the trip will be added hopefully soon.

Entebbe Botanical Gardens
Our Emirates flight was on time into Entebbe via Dubai. Our guide Paul Tamwenya was waiting for us outside and we swiftly moved away from the carnage of the airport and drove 15 minutes to the botanical gardens. The remaining few hours of light were spent walking around the entire gardens including the lake shore. A whole host of birds were on offer, but the Orange Weaver was the only species here not encountered anywhere else during the trip. We stayed on the outskirts of Kampala at The Lodge.
